Welcome back to my blog! It’s about to get real as I continue to let you lovely people into my world of creativity! Sit back and enjoy the ride.

Today’s post is focused on the things I will miss the most about the summer season. Things like being in my swimsuit, relaxing on the beach, frolicking in the sand, and traveling. Not to mention all the yummy food I eat along the way.

A lil glam for the gram

About a month ago I was honored to attend the UNCF Mayor’s Masked ball here in Washington D.C. As a designer it was amazing to wear my own custom gown that was an absolute game changer. You can say I SLAYED IT!!!

#All-Star Weekend

I was in New York for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week but since I’m a true lover of sports it was only right to attend the NBA All-Star events. I had a great time in NY as always; it’s one of my homes away from home. This weekend was full of action and surprises. I was on the move 24/7 and it was worth it. The celebrity all-star game was one of my favorites. This is how I captured the moment (in my custom made Asha Alexander attire):

We got soul!!!!! “The Soul Era,” Macy’s Black History month event

I had an absolutely FABULOUS time attending Macy’s Black History Month event in Washington, D.C.: “The Soul Era.” It was hosted by the beautiful Tia Beauchamp with amazing and fashionably fierce guest panelists Johnetta Boon and June Ambrose. These ladies were such a joy to listen to as they discussed what fashion meant to them during that particular era and how the era shaped and changed the fashion world. They literally lit up the room. The knowledge and advice they provided was priceless, I felt inspired and encouraged as a fashion designer to know that I was on the right track and these experts in the field recognized my craft, my art, and my fashion. Moreover, it was a pleasure meeting other D.C. fashion bloggers and people who love style and fashion.

“Brining disco to the day time, I live for the 70’s. The energy was so care free, it was provocative.” – June Ambrose

Lace Baby!… #TBT

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I’ve created this masterpiece. It was hand made especially for one of my best friends island wedding. I’ve always been a fan of lace and exquisite tropical colors. So it was only wright to marry the two and create something fabulous.
